Prepare for the SAT with PSAT tutoring

What is the PSAT?
The PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) is a shorter practice exam for the SAT that covers Reading, Writing and Language, and Math. While PSAT scores are not used in college admissions, the test is essential for qualifying for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Each year, over 1.5 million students take the PSAT/NMSQT to identify academic strengths, improve college readiness, and gain valuable testing experience

Why the PSAT
The PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) helps high school students prepare for the SAT and the college admissions process. It builds familiarity with standardized testing, strengthens academic skills, and can qualify students for scholarships like the National Merit Scholarship. While optional, consistent preparation leads to higher scores, increased confidence, and stronger performance on future exams. At Bright Leadership Academy, our PSAT preparation program emphasizes effective test-taking strategies, core skills, and long-term academic success.
