Dr. Shahid Shaikh is the founder and director of Bright Leadership Academy (BLA), established in 2008. He brings decades of classroom and school-leadership experience to every student plan, combining high standards with clear, practical coaching. Dr. Shaikh earned a Doctor of Education from Columbia University and a Master of Education from Columbia University. He holds a Permanent School District Administrator certification plus several permanent public-school licenses in English and ESL across elementary, junior high, and secondary/day high school settings. He leads our team of local expert tutors and oversees SAT, PSAT, ACT, Regents, AP, SHAT, TACHS, and statewide test preparation. Families come to BLA for targeted instruction, not busywork: we diagnose the real cause of low scores, build a step-by-step roadmap, and track progress with accountability and consistent feedback.
